Thanksgiving in New York

So be forewarned this will be a very long post! :)

Well, New York was so much more than what I expected, there were no crazy hobos trying to steal my money on the subway, no rude New Yorker, pleasant weather, and so so so much prettier and amazing in person.
So here is my adventures!
We were able to attend  church in Manhattan!
The chapel is actually in the temple!
It's right in the middle, the baptismal font in under it, and the rest of the rooms are on top of the chapel.
It was so weird and cool taking an elevator to church!

Well, also in our trip we were able to try many many different resturants which were all very good, the best hot chocolate had to be this little face across from Bryant Park,  called Lily O' Brian the chocolate was so yummy!

Of course no trip to New York would not be complete without seeing the Statue of Liberty!  It was so cool to actualy see it in person, it's so much bigger in person, and it was just so cool to finally see it!

We wern't able to see Ellis Island because it was too late in the day, but the boot ride from the Statue of Liberty was fun because wer were able to see the New York skyline, which is pretty awesome

We also had a shopping day, which was amaing!
New York City is the BEST mall!

Every store we went to had at least three stories, I went to Gap, Forever 21, H and M, and of course Tiffany's!

On the topic of rude New Yorkers, well I didn't meet one everyone was so nice, I met a huge black guy singing to every song in Gap while he folded clothes, my dad was so confused since the guy had such a high voice, and he kpt asking the black guy, is that you singing? haha
Also, in Tiffany's I was a little scared to take a picture on the stairwell, since there were two mean looking security guards were there, but once we asked they smiled and stepped back so that we could take a couple of pictures!

The cool thing about going to New York during Thanksgiving is that all the Christmas decorations are already out, so you can enjoy the Christmas environment in New York without it being too cold!
We got to see the Rockfeller tree, but sadly it was covered up, but it is crazy huge!

We also went to Times Square which was so much fun, the nest way to describe it is, to picture Las Vegas, and just think 10 times cooler and you have Times Square.

There was so much to look at, whith the billboards that were coming to life, all the performers out side, and music blaring, the Forever 21 is there, and it was so much fun to shop there, thery put a taxi in the bottom floor and filled it with streamers and confetti!
Like I said the shopping in New York, is like a mall on steriods!
